I know in my head I should be packing the car, making last minute arrangements and checking to be sure I haven’t forgotten anything. I am especially antsy to get going this year since last summer I spent here at home after breaking my leg in 3 places. But at least this year, I am healthy, and ready to go. So until September I need to keep the bags by the door and just chill, until its my time to leave for the Cape. Have a great August all, I will miss you, but I will be coming soon. .
FDA approves HIV drug etravirine
Sold under the trade name Intelence, etravirine is a non-nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitor, or NNRTI, that helps to block an enzyme that the human immunodeficiency virus needs to multiply, the FDA said. It was approved for use in combination with other anti-HIV medications. Etravirine can reduce the amount of HIV in the blood and increase white blood cells that help fight off other infections, the FDA said. It also may reduce the risk of death or infections that can occur with a weakened immune system. The government gave etravirine a priority review, a status granted to medications aimed at treating serious or life-threatening conditions. Tibotec Pharmaceuticals Ltd., a unit of Johnson & Johnson, said last July that it had requested etravirine be placed on a fast track for review.

Grieving Father Tells Of Nightmare
Brian Aim, 51, said he, his wife Peggy, also 51, and son Alan, 23, have been living through a constant nightmare ever since officers broke the news at his Orkney home. "It's felt as though we're watching a bad film on the television and could we not change channels?" he said. "But we're stuck on this channel for the rest of our lives. "We just wish that we could change over, instead of this absolute nightmare that we're going through." He said the full reality of what has happened would not sink in until Karen's body is returned home to Orkney. "We don't believe it's happened yet," said Mr Aim, who works as a joiner in Holm, Orkney. "It's beginning to register now that the house is half-full of flowers and sympathy cards. We are beginning to realise something is happening." Mr Aim described how his daughter had "landed on her feet" on her second visit to New Zealand, where she had been working at a glass-blowing gallery in the resort town.

PUBLIC TRANSPORT
The Athens centre's job is to help Greek consumers enjoy the full benefits of the EU's internal market. It is part of the so-called Euroguichet network of consumer advice offices across Europe. The Athens office is hosted by the Greek Consumer Institute (INKA) and jointly funded by the European Commission, the Central Bank of Greece and the development ministry. Information is available in both Greek and English. The centre is also open to EU citizens visiting Greece who feel they have been swindled, ripped off or bamboozled, and to people living in Greece who feel they have been scammed by businesses in other EU member states. The most common complaints involving purchases concern price hikes, faulty or defective products, inaccurate, misleading or deceiving advertisements and below-standard services as well as instances of exploitation.
